Light Lemon Turkey Chops

Here we are again trying to make bland food taste more or less ok and edible.

I bought some turkey chops.  They look like lamb chops but they’re not.


To start making this, I put some olive oil, some fresh basil cut into bits and some salt in a dish.


I put the chops there and rubbed all that marinade on the chops. Then I put them in my pan to grill. Once Side and then the other.


When they were done, I added a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and another of water and put that in the pan.


This is the result.


If my daughter hadn’t been with an upset tummy, after grilling the meat I would have taken the meat out of the pan, added some potatoes and fried them before putting the meat back with the potatoes.

Then with the sauce, I would have added some corn flour to thicken it up a bit.
