What a beautiful building this is:
Those two towers at the top used to be water deposits.
this building was made in 1933, designed by Enrique Viedma Vidal.
The building was meant to be for workers so they were affordable then. Now they’re totally unattainable… too expensive.
Funny enough, the area around it is not what you’d call posh.
When it was built there was literally absolutely nothing around it, just fields with vegetables, now it’s in the centre of Valencia. The nearest tube station is Plaza de España.
These pictures were taken from the block of flats right opposite The Red Building. The flats are spacious, 7 rooms, plus dinning room, huge kitchen and three bathrooms. People used to have many children then!
